The brief
MKM is a merchant, not a manufacturer, so a calculator tied to one product range would have been the wrong tool. Their customers need to compare options across suppliers.
What we built
A U-value calculator that starts from the area being insulated (roof, external wall or floor), then narrows to a subsection and a specific build-up.
Unlike a manufacturer's calculator, it draws on materials from a variety of sources, so the user is choosing between real alternatives rather than being led to one product.
