The brief
Without knowing the U-value of a wall, floor or roof, you cannot know how energy efficient the building will be, and you cannot show that it meets Building Regulations. URSA wanted to give specifiers that answer for free, across their insulation range.
What we built
A guided U-value calculator that walks the user through a build-up to a result.
Once U-values are generated, the same model feeds a condensation risk analysis tool: it calculates the risk, exposes the boundary conditions used in the assessment, and produces a full downloadable calculation including temperature profiles and dew point graphs.
Users can sign in and keep their work under My Projects, so a calculation can be picked up again later rather than rebuilt.
